In the Comoro Islands, every product begins with a land, a craft and the women and men who grow it.
At Moon Island, we want to preserve this link between the product and its origin. We select our products as close as possible to where they are produced and work to document their journey, from cultivation to the finished product.
Our traceability approach is a work in progress: batch-level information is not yet available online.

Moon Island was born from a family story.
In 2018, after retiring, my father decided to plant vanilla in the Comoros. A few years later, this crop became the starting point of a larger project: to share the riches of our homeland in a different way.
My grandmother has kept taking part in this story and keeping the production alive locally.
In France, we wanted to go further: to create a house able to share the aromatic richness of the Comoros with the standard of excellence we associate with the great fine-food houses.
Moon Island was born from that desire.
