Ylang-ylang and the Comoros

Ylang-ylang is a tropical tree whose flowers are distilled to produce an oil with a floral, sweet and exotic fragrance, widely used in perfumery. The Comoros is one of the world's main producers of ylang-ylang essential oil, along with Madagascar. Our oil is distilled in Mohéli, one of the three islands of the Union of the Comoros.
